Everyone remembers the scene in Friends where Ross, Chandler, and Rachel try to carry a couch up a narrow staircase.

Taking one step up, banging into the railing, and correcting course. All to the sound of Ross' sweet, symphonic voice.

Pivot! Pivot! Pivot!

That scene has been good a Sunday night laugh for years now, and makes for an excellent meme choice.

I've never really thought much more of it.

Until I needed to come up with a title for this post...

It's actually pretty damn symbolic for what it's like to build your own online business.

Maybe not so much for a more straight-forward business (like an agency), but when it comes building a passion project, there are quite a few pivots along the way.

When I first built Can't Wait Till Monday, I thought I had the master plan all laid out. You know, just like my ol' friend Elon.

Since then, the plan has changed more times than I can count.

It's looked a lot like:

Sometimes the challenge is thinking small enough.

Sounds counter-intuitive, right?

Don't get me wrong, I think having a "Disney" vision is super important. At the same time, knowing what to work on today is just as crucial.

For a while, I've been stuck on trying to figure out what that next domino is.

Luckily I've had my digital marketing agency to help fill the gaps and pay the bills, but Can't Wait Till Monday has been stagnant for a long-time.

So I spent that last few months getting quiet and thinking about what I wanted to do with the brand.

I've had ideas of it being an entrepreneurship incubator, or a personal branding resource, or a digital marketing forum...

But I've come to realize that I spend a lot of my free time playing around with marketing tech.

I love the intersect of nerdy tools, making sales, and building an amazing customer journey.

So it was time to make a new Can't Wait Till Monday pivot.

Welcome to CWTM v87.0!

Instead of vaguely trying to make a hundred million people 'can't wait till monday', with no real sense of direction...

I'm going to think a bit smaller for now.

I'm going to use my skills & interests to help entrepreneurs grow their online businesses using the latest marketing tools & systems - without the headaches and overwhelm.

This will come in the form of tutorials, tech reviews, YouTube videos, a newsletter, and consulting services.

Once I've built out a Minimum Viable Audience, the plan will be to release some cool courses, templates, and tools too.

All of this will be made with the sole purpose of helping entrepreneurs succeed - because entrepreneurs make a great impact on the world.

I hope you'll come along for the journey?
